HOLISTIC PSYCHOTHERAPY

Holistic psychotherapy looks beyond symptoms and focuses on how your experiences are shaping the way you think, feel, and respond.

Rather than trying to “fix” individual problems, this work explores the underlying patterns, how your nervous system responds to stress, how your relationships function, and how past experiences continue to influence your present.

Most difficulties aren’t random. They are learned responses that made sense at the time, but may no longer be serving you.

This work is about understanding those patterns, processing what’s been held, and creating more flexibility in how you experience yourself and your life.

Drawing on approaches such as EMDR, schema therapy, and somatic work, therapy is tailored to support meaningful, lasting change.

It’s not just about insight. It’s about change at the level of your body, your emotions, and your relationships.

In our work together, we gently explore your patterns, not to analyse you, but to understand you.

This might include:
✔ Patterns in your relationships
✔ How your body holds stress and emotion
✔ Past experiences that still feel stuck
✔ The parts of you that feel overwhelmed, shut down, or reactive
✔ Early childhood experiences shaping your sense of safety, self-worth, and relationships

EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is one of the most well-respected therapies for working with trauma, triggers, and stuck emotional patterns.

When something overwhelming happens, it isn’t always fully processed at the time. Instead, it can remain stored in the nervous system, showing up later as anxiety, reactivity, or emotional overwhelm.

Schema Therapy

Schema therapy focuses on the deeper patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate to yourself and others.

These patterns often develop early in life as a way of adapting to your environment. While they once made sense, they can become repetitive or limiting over time.

Working online offers the same depth and effectiveness as in-person therapy, with the added flexibility of accessing support from your own space.

For many people, it also makes it easier to open up and stay consistent, without the pressure of travel or time constraints.

EMDR, schema therapy, and nervous system-based approaches can all be adapted effectively to an online setting.

Child & Teen Sessions

Every young person responds differently to life’s challenges. Sometimes big feelings, thoughts, or behaviours begin to impact their daily life, relationships, or sense of self, and it can be hard to know what’s part of growing up and what might need support.

 

This work offers a trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate space to support emotional regulation, behaviour, and a stronger sense of self.
