Holistic Psychotherapist | Breathwork Facilitator Yoga Teacher | Founder of The Breath Collective
ANNA WOOD
Anna Wood is a holistic psychotherapist specialising in childhood trauma, emotional regulation, and the patterns of disconnection that often emerge from early life experiences. With over a decade of clinical experience, she offers a deeply compassionate, trauma-informed, and integrative approach to healing.

Her work draws on evidence-based modalities including EMDR, schema therapy, attachment theory, and positive psychology, alongside somatic and creative approaches such as breathwork, shadow work, and arts therapy. This integration allows for both insight and embodied change—supporting clients to not just understand their patterns, but shift them.

At the core of Anna’s work is a respect for the inner child—the younger parts of us that adapted in order to feel safe, loved, or accepted. Through a relational and attuned approach, she supports clients to reconnect with these parts, offering the safety, care, and voice they may not have received.

She also incorporates parts work, drawing on Internal Family Systems principles, helping clients develop a compassionate relationship with their internal world—bringing awareness to protector parts, vulnerable parts, and the steady, grounded self beneath them.
Anna is particularly passionate about shadow work, guiding clients to explore the hidden or disowned aspects of self that often hold the greatest potential for healing and transformation. Her philosophy is simple: healing is not about fixing what is broken, but about reconnecting with who you are beneath the layers of protection.

Outside the therapy room, Anna is the founder of The Breath Collective, where she facilitates embodied, heart-led experiences including trauma-informed breathwork, women’s circles, conscious connection events, and retreats.
Known for her grounded presence and authenticity, Anna brings both clinical depth and lived experience to her work. She creates spaces where people feel safe enough to be real—and supported enough to change.
