For younger children, this often involves play and creative therapies. For teens, it may include talking, art, movement, or mindfulness — whatever helps them feel safe, understood, and able to express what’s going on.

Every young person responds differently to life’s challenges. Sometimes big feelings, thoughts, or behaviours begin to impact their daily life, relationships, or sense of self — and it can be hard to know what’s part of growing up and what might need support.

You might notice changes like anxiety, anger, withdrawal, difficulty concentrating, or struggles with sleep, friendships, or school.

With over a decade of experience in child and adolescent mental health and trauma, I work with young people in a way that meets them where they are — developmentally, emotionally, and relationally.
